Event Volunteer duties are various – e.g. making up show bags, registration, ushering, marshalling, hosting, selling charity items, catering, hosting and lots more!

Soup Kitchens/Food Rescue

Are there really hungry people in Australia? Yes there are. But you can support disadvantaged people needing food assistance by helping out at soup kitchens or food rescue organisations such as Second Bite and Foodbank Victoria. Due to popular demand, there will be waiting lists for these roles so it’s best to secure your shift at least 3-6 months in advance.

Modern day elves are needed for various Christmas-related volunteering events, starting around July. Duties may include hand writing Christmas cards, making up Christmas hampers, picking up donated toys, charity gift wrapping, helping run Christmas events, selling Christmas trees or singing carols. Ho Ho Ho, sign up now to avoid disappointment.
