Seeking Volunteer Citizen Advocates

Could You Be A Short Term Volunteer, Citizen Advocate?

Melbourne East Disability Advocacy provides individual and volunteer citizen advocacy, information and support alongside people with an intellectual disability in the local community.

Advocacy assists and empowers people with an intellectual disability to have control over decision making and prevent discrimination or social exclusion.

Do you want to:

  • Use your problem solving skills in a practical setting
  • Provide advocacy and stand up for a person’s rights
  • Support people with disability with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) transition

Can you take an interest, speak up, listen, take initiative?
Do you live, study, work or are active in the municipalities of Boroondara, Manningham, Monash, Maroondah or Whitehorse?

Then come along to an Information Session on Tuesday 11th April 7pm @ MEDA

level 1, 79 Mahoneys Rd Forest Hill. RSVP by 10th Feb.
