Eastern Volunteers conducts Volunteering Communities of Practice in the local government areas of Manningham, Whitehorse, Maroondah and Yarra Ranges.

These Communities of Practice bring together people who have responsibility for managing or co-ordinating volunteers in a range of groups and organisations from health, aged care, community services, sporting, environmental, animal welfare, tourism and every other place volunteers are working for their community.

The Communities of Practice provide peer learning and support, capacity to think about how we pool our resources to promote, recruit and induct volunteers, regional planning of volunteer services  and identification of training and support needs. It is not a network but a more active group which co-designs and plans how we can deliver services through volunteers.
